As the pandemic drove people indoors, Activv saw an opportunity to create virtual experiences and community interactions. The project involved a rapid sprint to create a platform where instructors could seamlessly host live streams, offer online classes, and monetize their expertise. The platform not only allowed professionals to reach a global audience but also facilitated meaningful interactions and community building, addressing the need for connection and education during lockdowns.
I was part of a team within the TM agency, collaborating with a project manager and one other brand designer to deliver a product experience for Activv. As the UX lead on the project, I mapped out end-to-end user journeys and defined the user experience for both instructors and students. From streamlining class availability and booking to introducing presentation aids and live streaming enhancements, I proposed innovative features that would elevate their users’ experience and set Activv apart from the competition.
