In response to the pandemic, Handshake wanted to translate traditional college career fairs into virtual experiences. The primary focus was to ensure meaningful connections between students and employers, despite the shift to a virtual platform.

The team delved into thorough user research to understand the unique value that in-person career fairs offered and how to translate that into a virtual space. We designed an all-encompassing platform that offered multiple features, including event listings, employer information, seminar streaming, and personalized 1:1 meeting opportunities. My focus was on the listing, discovery, and booking of sessions and meetings.
